I built Tagnetix because nobody knew where the parts went.
I worked in manufacturing quality, where defective and nonconforming parts had to be found, moved, reviewed, and documented correctly. The inventory system often said a part was sitting in a location where it did not exist.
Use the phone people already carry
A QR label can open the right record without a special scanner. The person holding the part, tool, or equipment can see its history and update it while it is still in front of them.

Tagnetix is for people who need straight answers: Where is it? Who has it? What happened last time? What needs to happen next?
